Serving in the Workplace

We are called to be in the world, but not of the world in John 17:15-17. Do you ever struggle with living out your faith in the workplace? How are we to serve our co-workers, employers, and employees in a job where God is not acknowledged or accepted? Join us to discuss Biblical principles of how we can be ‘on mission’ to honor God and serve others, even through our secular professions. [Eph 6:5-8]

Serving In your Marriage

Did you know that the Bible calls you to serve your husband? Yes, it’s in there! Join us as we dive into God’s Word to discover Biblical truths of how to serve our spouse in a God honoring way, even when we don’t really feel like it or he may not deserve it. [Ephesians 4:25-32; 5]

“P” is for ‘Parenting’ and ‘Priorities’, NOT ‘Perfect’

Social media paints a picture of a ‘super’ mom who can do it all. Our lives and our homes should be ‘Pinterest perfect’. By the world’s standards, our marriages should be picture-perfect; our children should excel in school and in every sport; we should have lean, ballet bodies; and we should all be CEO’s at our jobs. We would also like to serve our church or community too, but we are surrounded with laundry, carpooling, homework, etc. Are you exhausted from all of these worldly expectations? We sure are! Join us to discuss how God wants us to live, and tips to prioritize our lives according to God’s Word, not the world’s lies.

Spiritual Gifts: What are They and Why are They so Important?

1 Peter 4:10 tells that we “should use whatever gift you have received to serve others”. We are each made uniquely with a purpose to serve in God’s kingdom. When we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit gives us certain spiritual gifts to allow us to fulfill a particular role in the body of Christ, His church. Join us as we discuss our spiritual gifts and how to use them intentionally to glorify God and serve our church, our families, and our community.
